Nicole Onorato is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. Nicole completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with a focus in Family Therapy from Southeastern University. Nicole works with adults and adolescents through a holistic framework tailored to her clients needs.

Nicole’s creative and integrative approach is rooted in evidence-based interventions that draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Adlerian Therapy. She works with you to find new ways to support your emotional and physical health through developing self-care rituals, healthy habits, and mindfulness practices. Nicole provides psychotherapy and counseling services for wide range of presenting concerns that include processing and overcoming past traumas, coping with and understanding anxiety and depression, relationship issues, grief and loss, stress reduction, communication difficulties, self-esteem and self-image, mood disorders, and adjustment issues. At Heal ATL, Nicole works with a wide range of life concerns and individuals from all walks of life, cultures, and religious backgrounds, each with their own unique story and experiences. Nicole views psychotherapy as a collaborative and relational process in which she walks alongside her clients in their journey of self love, self discovery, healing, and growth. Nicole’s therapeutic style is direct yet compassionate and nonjudgmental. As your counselor, her role is to help provide insight and the tools you need to feel empowered to cultivate lasting change in your life. Nicole is passionate about inspiring her clients to create there own personal meaning and finding their purpose in our world.

Outside of work, Nicole loves to spend her time in nature, traveling, creating memories with family & friends, practicing self-care, researching all things wellness, and following her creative hobbies.
