When’s the last time your brain gave you a break? Have you been feeling overwhelmed, constantly second-guessing and comparing yourself? Would you like a safe space to be completely unfiltered about what’s going on in your head and your heart? Shannon is your therapist.

What Shannon does best is build rapport with high school, college-age and young professional clients so they feel comfortable letting her untangle their thoughts and experiences. She understands the uncertainty, anxiety, and self-doubt that comes with life’s transitions. With humor, reflection, and psychopathology guiding your sessions, you will uncover and challenge patterns of behavior and thinking — learning to rewrite and reframe any negative beliefs that are holding you back.

Shannon wants you to feel more confident and less anxious. She knows your relationships with friends and family will improve, as the relationship with yourself becomes more compassionate. She wants you to start living an intentional life that you love!

Shannon uses a variety of Person Centered modalities in her work with clients. She leans into Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is also trained in Creative Expressive interventions to further elicit self-discovery. She works with adolescents (15+) and adults.

As an ardent reader and a curious traveler, Shannon is always seeking out stories—she appreciates that you are the expert of your own and she is enthusiastic about being a part of it.

Shannon operates under the direction of Brittany Hewitt, MA, LPC and under the clinical supervision of Annie Kelahan, LPC.
