Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Isita strives to create a space where you can feel comfortable, safe, and—when appropriate—even share a laugh. She believes therapy should be a mix of warmth, validation, and honest conversations. She’ll support you with compassion but isn’t afraid to call you out when you’re acting outside of your values or the goals you’ve set for yourself. She is committed to making therapy a space where you can grow, heal, and, most importantly, be yourself.
Her approach to therapy is collaborative—you bring the expertise of your life, and she brings clinical knowledge, an outside perspective, and a deep understanding of how the mind and body work together. With a background in biology, neuroscience, and psychology, Isita helps clients understand the science behind their experiences, making the abstract feel a little more concrete.
Isita specializes in working with trauma (especially generational trauma), perinatal mental health, identity exploration, self-worth, and boundary setting—particularly within immigrant families. As a first-generation eldest daughter, she understands the complexities of navigating multiple cultural identities, family expectations, and the delicate art of setting boundaries. She is passionate about reducing the stigma around mental health and brings cultural humility and inclusivity to every session.
Her therapeutic toolkit includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused techniques, Somatic practices, and Brainspotting, always tailored to your unique needs. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and is trained in Brainspotting and Perinatal Mental Health.
Outside of the office, Isita is a trauma-informed therapist speaker and corporate wellness facilitator who blends clinical expertise, cultural humility, and real-world practicality to support mental health in the workplace. With a background in biology, neuroscience, and psychology, she makes the science of stress, burnout, and resilience accessible and actionable. Her interactive workshops help teams navigate work stress, set boundaries, and build authentic work-life balance—all through an inclusive, honest, and empowering lens.
Outside of therapy, Isita loves baking, reading, Bollywood, dancing, and her dog, Maya. She dances to relieve stress and believes a good TV show binge can be therapeutic in its own way.
