Carrie Beck is a holistic, trauma-informed adult psychotherapist who works with adult
individuals and couples. She offers a warm, collaborative space to explore relationships,
intimacy challenges, life transitions, grief, addiction, and anxiety. Carrie welcomes and
honors the complexity of each personโ€™s story, but believes therapy should be more than just
talking about whatโ€™s not working. She holds a deep respect for the bodyโ€™s adaptive
responses, and gently guides clients toward finding new ways to relate to whatโ€™s happened
to them, tapping into innate strengths and finding agency. Healing is not about perfecting
yourself, but experiencing more flexibility. In sessions, she integrates emotional insight and
body awareness while holding space for inner wisdom to come forward, shifting long-
standing patterns. Whether someone is facing a clearly defined challenge or simply feeling
stuck, overwhelmed or uncertain, she helps clients slow down, notice whatโ€™s arising, and
make meaning from the inside out.
Carrie views therapy as a collaborative and evolving process that honors the uniqueness of
each clientโ€™s story, nervous system, and relational landscape. Her approach draws from a
range of holistic and evidence-based modalities to help clients reconnect with clarity and
self-trust. She brings advanced study and training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic
Experiencing, EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Neuro-Affective Relational Model
(NARM), and Christian sex therapy. Her work is informed by research in interpersonal
neurobiology, attachment science and post-traumatic growth. Building from authentic
connection, curiosity and compassion, Carrie brings an affirming presence with โ€˜just-rightโ€™
challenge and a healthy sense of humor. Whether guiding couples through relational repair,
or helping individuals process trauma and rediscover purpose, she offers a grounded, non-
judgemental space for transformation.

Before becoming a therapist, Carrie loved being a mom to her three children (now grown).
She also worked as a functional medicine health coach, giving her a unique lens on mind-
body integration and whole-person healing. She brings extensive experience from years of
mentorship and group facilitation in faith-based communities, allowing her to support
clients navigating spiritual questions with nuance and care. Carrie welcomes clients of all
backgrounds and beliefs.
Outside of working with clients, Carrie enjoys spending time in nature, with her houseful of
fur babies, reading, hiking, embroidery kits, and exploring new places and food around
Atlanta and beyond with her husband.
