Shambria has extensive experience working with clients from various cultural, spiritual, and religious backgrounds. She specializes in individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma that may manifest as people-pleasing tendencies, perfectionism, or poor boundaries. Her specialities include Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma informed therapy.
Shambria is also certified in Brainspotting. Trauma and stress can impact different areas of our brain at the subcortical level. Brainspotting aims to engage these subcortical parts of the brain that also connect with our network of the nervous system to process emotions that may be stuck within us. Additionally, Shambria is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is an evidenced-based psychotherapy that is used to alleviate symptoms related to trauma, anxiety, and many other mental health disorders.
As a trauma-informed therapist, Shambria is also speaker and corporate wellness facilitator who blends clinical expertise, cultural humility, and real-world practicality to support mental health in the workplace. Her interactive workshops help teams navigate work stress, set boundaries, and build authentic work-life balanceβ€”all through an inclusive, honest, and empowering lens.
In her spare time Shambria enjoys playing with her dog, going for walks, and catching up on reality TV.
