If you’re someone who feels like you always have to hold it all together, take care of everyone else, or push through on your own, you may be carrying more than others realize. Perhaps you struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or relationship patterns that leave you feeling unseen, disconnected, or not enough. No matter how much you accomplish or how much you give to others, you may still find yourself longing for a deeper sense of confidence, connection, and self-trust. Therapy can be a space to set down the pressure and reconnect with yourself.

Scarlett Chang is a somatic therapist and wellness practitioner who brings an integrative, trauma-informed, and heart-centered approach to healing.

With over a decade of experience in the wellness field, Scarlett brings a unique perspective to therapy that bridges clinical training with extensive experience in somatic mindfulness, yoga, breathwork, meditation, and sound healing. She believes that meaningful healing involves not only understanding our thoughts and experiences, but also developing a deeper awareness of the body, emotions, nervous system, and patterns that shape how we move through the world.

Scarlett is trained in Brainspotting Levels 1 & 2, a body-based therapeutic approach that can support clients in accessing and processing experiences that may feel difficult to reach through words alone. She also draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness-based approaches, and somatic therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and lived experiences.

As a second-generation Asian American, Scarlett understands how cultural values, family dynamics, identity, achievement, and unspoken expectations can shape the way we view ourselves and relate to others. She brings a culturally responsive and inclusive lens to her work, honoring each client’s unique background, experiences, and intersecting identities.

Scarlett’s therapeutic style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. She creates space for clients to slow down, feel deeply understood, and explore the parts of themselves that may have learned to cope through self-criticism, over-functioning, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or disconnection. Through an embodied approach to therapy, she helps clients build greater capacity to feel, process, and move through their experiences rather than simply trying to think their way out of them.

Scarlett believes healing is not about becoming a different or “better” version of yourself. It is about developing the safety, self-trust, and awareness to come home to who you are. Her intention is to help clients move from survival and self-protection toward greater self-worth, authenticity, connection, and a deeper sense of feeling at home within themselves.
