Ryan is an adult psychotherapist who approaches the therapy room with an attuned, accepting, and non-judging presence to your story. He specializes in working with individuals and couples navigating their twenties and thirties with the complexities of addiction and trauma. His style is collaborative, calm and compassionate. If you're experiencing feelings of overwhelm, disconnection, or find that past wounds are impacting your present relationships and well-being then Ryan may be the right fit for you.
Ryanβs work blends Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, Attachment, and Psychodynamic theories. His approach gently explores how trauma and addiction are intricately held within the body, often manifesting as physical sensations, anxiety, or disembodiment. He will work with you to compassionately explore your internal "partsβ, foster understanding, inner harmony, and self-acceptance.
For couples impacted by addiction and trauma, Ryan provides a space to explore the complex interplay of these experiences within the relationship. He will work with you to foster safety and trust, improve communication around sensitive issues, and understand how trauma histories influence relational patterns.
Ryan will hold your story with care and give you space to unload your heavy burdens. He believes in humanityβs ability to heal. Heβs here to offer a safe, positive, and supportive space to explore your experiences and move with you towards greater wholeness.
Ryan operates under the direction of Dr. Shayda Nematollahi, LPC and under the clinical supervision of Brittany Hewitt, LPC, CPCS.

βPeople are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner." I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.β
